| - The Astro Zombies - Bertha Lou Last weekend I went to go see the Krum bums with Laurin, Taryn, and Sarah. The bums were rockin of course. This band the Angel City Outcasts played, they were pretty cool. Berry showed up too I was really happy I didn't think he was gonna be able to. He works at American Airlines and his hours are 2PM - 1030PM so he misses most shows it's awful. He got there RIGHT in time for the Krum bums. His weekends are Tuesday and Wednesday. Yesterday the Reprehensibles and ANS did there kickoff thing for there tour at RBC so we went to that. We went Fishin allllll day and alllll night on Tuesday. The only bites I got were ant bites and mosquito bites.... I'm COVERED. But it was fun. Berry caught a few little catfish so did Austin. WAIT I caught a turtle. But I didn't mean too. This Sunday is The Varukers, L. C. B., Abrasive Wheels, Clit 45, and Damage Case at Red Blood. BUT it sucks cause the NERKROMANTIX and the Henchmen! Are playin the exact same day. And it sucks even more... there is a THIRD killer show on Sunday. The Hotrod Hillbillies and Sasquatch and the Sickabillies are ALSO playin a show. FUCK FUCK FUCK. But I'm goin to the punk show cause I don't think I'll ever get a chance to see the Varukers again AND I gotta help save red blood club!! I can't let em go down!! I wanna go to Austin the next day to catch the Nekromantix and Henchmen at Emo's but I don't think Fisher and Ash are plannin on doin that anymore plus... I'm completely broke. DAMMIT I wish those fucks who put the shows together talked first!!! I mean shit schedulin 3 shows that great on the same night!!!! And expecially the Nekromantix/Henchmen bein the same night at The Hotrod Hillibilles/Sasquatch. If they just didn't schedule those shows on the same day both clubs would get a much better turn out. They lost money cause they didn't watch other Venues calendars!!

| Last night I got home from San Antonio. Saturday night I saw WANDA JACKSON,Dawn Shipley & The Sharpshooters, The Starlite Wranglers, Sean Castillo & The Hubcaps, Lil' Bit & The Customatics, Chadd Thomas & The Crazy Kings, Turbo 350, and the Jack Cats at Sam's. It was so much fun. Berry couldn't come which sucked a lot though. He wanted to go so bad he loves Wanda. He had to work, he is new at American Airlines. My dad works there. If Berry misses a day of work they can fire him right now cause new hires are on probation. I missed him a lot but it was so much fun still. I love San Antonio. It's my favorite city. I'm gonna move there one day. I went with my sister Ashley and her boyfriend Fisher. We followed Ericka, Emily, Ralph, and the other girls name was Cristina I think but I'm not sure. We stayed at Gloria's appartment. Fisher, Ash and me went at saw the Alamo and walked on the River Walk and it was cool. There is this Ripley's thing down town and it was this really awesome haunted house thing. I really wanna go through that next time. I wanna have a haunted house one day. I wanna do my whole house up like a haunted house one day. And open it as one during Halloween time to make a little extra cash on it. WANDA WAS SO GREAT. So was eery one else but Wanda is the queen. I danced too but I don't know how. I reaally wanna take swing dancin lessons w/ Berry. And I wanna move to San Antonio. That's where the college I wanna go to is too. I'm gonna go to SAC and then be a mortician. Well I'll put pictures of the show up soon. And one last thing, Thank you very much Alex for gettin us all on the list. We definetly wouldn't of had enough money to all get into the show and have gas to get home if it were full price. | | |
| - Mad Ramblers , Who needs a gun when your psychoThe Concombre Zombi , Krum Bums , Residuals, and Dead City Shakers show was rockin on Saturday. I got that new Psycho Ward comp and it's great. I suggest you all pick one up. But I got mine for 7 bones which is great for a full length good CD. I love buyin my music at shows it's always a better deal. It was a good turn out of people too. Red Blood Club needs as much support as possible right now. It's the best venue in Dallas and we can't let it shut down. It's my favorite place to go. It is the only all ages music venue in Dallas (besides like The Door but fuck that place) and its where all the good punk shows are. They are in fear of shutting down so everyone SAVE RED BLOOD CLUB and get your asses out there. I'm goin to Arizona tomorrow to visit my Grandparents. Then when I get back I'm gonna really try to get a job. Saturday night is HELLBOUND HEARSE, THE SICK CITY DAGGERS, and THE DEAD CITY SHAKERS. It's gonna kill. Hellbound Hearse is my favorite Texas Psycho band. I've gotta see em a few times already they are the best. | - I don't worry about it - - I haven't written in here in a while cause I got lazy. 420 was GREAT. Hope all of ya'll who indulge had a good one. Ya'll probably know already since it's been like 3 months but Berry got kicked outta the Scandals by HARRY! Cause he had a job and couldn't make it out to practice a couple times, and cause he didn't have a mohawk anymore and dint fit the bands image enough or somethin. It's real lame though cause it was Berry's and Jose's band to begin with and Berry got Harry into the band ! Any ways. We just got back from this rockabilly rumble with the Susans and the Jack Cats. It was pretty good. June 4th me n Berry are gonna drive out to San Antonio to see Wanda Jackson at Sam's. It's gonna be real killer I can't wait. She rocks. Hasil Adkins died did ya'll hear bout that? Hmmmm. I quit my job! So I can dye my hair. haha. I have a neon orange stripe in my pomp now. I'm gonna get a job at Trail Dust or the Texas Roadhouse ( <-- WILLIE OWNS THAT! SO they wont drug test I bet. hahah) And that way I good listen to a live Texas country band play while I waited tables and I could wear my cowboy hat and have my stripe in my hair. All of ya'll punks and psychos in DFW need to come out to Red Blood Club on the 7th of May for.... Concombre Zombi, the Krum Bums, the Dead City Shakers, and the Residuals. I can't wait. I'll git my punk fix and my psycho fix at one show. Well yall gimmie some comments please or I'll get bored again and quit writin!

| - Mad RumbleLast night I saw HELLBOUND HEARSE at Indigo. Every Wednesday night in psychobilly night at Indigo now it's awesome. I'm gonna try to go as much as I can to support my scene..... if a whole lotta folks go to these Wednesday night shows better bands will start playin Dallas. Berry is really sleepy he works a whole lot. So I probably wont be able to make it every Wednesday... But I'm gonna really try. I need a license. I got my learners permit the other day. I saw the 12 Step Rebels Tuesday night. Danzig played down the street Tuesday but I saw the Rebels.... even though Danzig was the original lead singer on the best band there ever was. I wanted to see him.... but not as bad. His show was like 30 bones and the Red Blood Club kills Gypsy. And I have see the 12 Step Rebels a few times before and I like to go and see em and say hi. I love Red Blood. It's like my second home. The Lower Class Brats are playin there Friday. Man I'm so tired I've been workin the morning shift, 9AM - 2 PM... which is great because I get the whole day after work to do whatever. But I'm so sleepy. I've been stayin out real late and I get up when Berry does which is like 630. So I'm gonna go take a nap. | | |
